well hey there random!

I've been MIA lately, and I apologize. Though this post is a little, okay maybe alot, alcohol induced... I wanted to let you know I haven't forgot about ya'll. Promise! Forgive me for not commenting as much, not responding, etc. All of my followers mean something to me. Truly :)

I wanted to let you know what all I've been up to, briefly anyways.

As posted on Monday, the flooding has taken a toll on me. I am extremely tired, due to homes being flooded we've been crazy busy at work... later elaboration...maybe. :-P Also I feel like everything lately has been getting to me. When I say everything, I mean everything. (hence why a beer is sitting beside me) There's been so much going on that it's mentally draining me. I feel like I'm in a corner unable to move. It sucks. Big butt, really. However in the mean time, since my absence, I've created a new blog. I'd like to say that The Diva Bee has given birth. :claps hands, hooray hooray!: you can find it here. I give an explanation of what it's about in my first post. Check it out, ya'll might like it. If not, okay love you too. :)

I'm cutting this short, my attention span is getting the best of me. I just wanted to let ya'll know how much I love you. Also to let you know that lately I've been overwhelmed and in the meantime I ALSO created a new blog. That's my check-in for now. I'm sorry this is so random.

I have a few faves that I feel go "under-recognized" so I felt like this would be something fun to do. Though I don't have many followers myself, as my blog grows (hopefully) this will become more and more fun.

She's always making me laugh, and needless to say her little girl is just a doll! By reading her blog you will quickly learn that she has one of the most kind hearts and an outstanding passion for life. Though Summer and I have never met in real life, I love this girl so much! And she definately has a rather large spot in my heart.

Anybody noticed anything? Thought so! NEW BLOG DESIGN! Heyheyhey! Thanks to my lovely friend Bailey, I now have a divalicious layout! Score, yo! (anybody noticed the overuse of exclamation marks? heh..heh...) Anyways, if you would like to see more of her awesome designs you can visit her design blog and check out her portfolio! She's so easy to work with and returns your e-mails in a timely manner. The process was so easy, I was actually kind of stressed about it and probably sent one too many e-mails asking so many questions, (sorry bailey!) Other news: This week has been one fabulous week! So much so that I find it a little too hard to pass up this weeks fabulous friday hosted by one hot purple diva! ... even though I missed it by a day! ::lifts apple martini:: Here's to my Fabulous Saturday!

I am fabulous because...
+I spent two wonderful days this week doing nothing but shopping and having fun with my mom. Okay.. maybe we spent a little too much money... but it's whatever!
+I had successful week at work, and that's always something to smile about!
+I saw an old friend this week, we've been reuniting!
+I bought two pairs of cute shorts this week & two shirts, plus accessories to match!
+The weather has been astounding!
+We finally got to turn our pools fountain on!!!
+I finally got to be anxious all week long to attend church this Sunday!
+I got another follower! Hello #11, so nice of you to join me!
+I finally figured out how to "schedule" posts... all on my own! (okay, yea, i'm slow.. what's up!)

All together, this week has really been more than I could ask for. Everyday was filled with smiles, laughter, and joy. And that... that makes me fabulous.

my first awards!!

So when I first started blogging I instantly started reading multiple blogs. I came across a few blog posts where the bloggers were given awards, I love being awarded so it instantly caught my attention! HA! Sad thing is, my blog got off to a rough start. I wasn't 100% devoted, I wasn't jumping on many bandwagons, and really… I didn't have much to say. Honestly, I didn't know what to say… what people would be interested in hearing, or anything. Maybe I got a bit of stage blog fright. Now that I've been blogging for the past weeks/months, even though I'm still in toddler stage, I have loosened up on my posts. I have come to the realization that this blog is for me and no one else, in the end does it really matter if anyone reads it? Though, I really really love feedback and comments! It makes me feel like I'm not wasting time and my words aren't getting lost in cyberspace. However, the more comfortable I've become with my blog I have found the more followers I receive. Anyways, this isn't about mine and my blogs relationship (ha!) this is more about how I've become adapted to the atmosphere blogosphere and how I've quickly found people that I really enjoy reading about and talking to. I learn new things everyday and it's definitely a hobby that I am falling in love with!

Point being, through my blogging experience thus far, I have met people that have impacted me and inspired me… in more ways than one. Now, I've been given back that same lovin'! Introducing my very first awards, presented by some very beautiful ladies that well, I'm addicted to reading about.

Ah, it's that time. I promised this week that I would get around to posting the pictures that I have been promising for close to a month now. Well, here they are. Warning, you may suffer from POS {photo-overload-syndrome} by the time you finish this... that is... if you make it to the end. :] I hope all of you have a fabulous hump day (ok maybe I'm immature but I always giggle at that). Oh and btw, I ended up only working 8 hours instead of 13!! Wooot wooot! My dad called in reinforcement because well, mother-nature took a hard hit at me. Today was rough, to say the least. Nevertheless, I'll stop babbling. I hope you all enjoy and I didn't just waste a buncha time. (hence, my computer is slow as hell).

Hooray for the new changes to my blog! Okay, I know my "design" will never amount to anything that Bailey, over at AddictedToAddison, has the ability to do, simply because I think she works wonders when it comes to blog design. Anyways, check out her site! She's new to the blog design world (yet much more advanced than I can or ever will be lol) but she's definately creating a name for herself! Anyways... CHECK HER OUT! Do it.. now.

Today has amounted to nothing more than a lazy Monday, much like yesterday. Though I did make progress on personalizing my blog, that's basically all I did. I didn't even shower nor did I make breakfast (skipped it), nor lunch (my mom was sweet enough to make lunch for us), nor dinner (pizzzza night!)... ah the true meaning of laziness!! Most people experience "a case of the Monday's" every single Monday. I, on the other hand, have Monday off of work. So normally I spend my Monday's hiding at my house avoiding the "case of the Mondays". :] Cool life, I know.

Tomorrow I will being going to work. I'm happy about it actually. When I have two days off in a row (just like I do...every week) I start to miss work. I don't know if you can necessarily say I "miss" it, but I feel like apart of me is just not right. Yet all week long I keep saying that I can't wait til Saturday because it's my last day of work (in my work week, anyways) and then I get two days off. I don't know, maybe it's just that I invest all of my time there and it starts to catch up.

Anyways, I'm cutting it short tonight (okay, here is where YOU can enter your sigh of relief... if you've even made it this far hehe) I'm tired. Goodnight all. I hope you had an amazing Monday and didn't let a case of the Monday's drag you too far down. ;)

So tonight I customized my blog to the best of my ability of knowing how. I still don't much get the whole concept but whatever. Here it is. Until I decide that spending money for a blog design is worth it or until I can actually get money in the bank, this is what ya get. Homemade by the diva herself. :]

Today's been lazy. I had the day off, like all Monday's. Hungout with my mom and Jacob Riley and basically did nothing but stay in my pajamas and put some hard work into chillaxin, that's all. I watched The Young and the Restless and the Bachelor. Other than that I didn't much watch any TV. Just worked on this for a while till I was satisfied with the design, which I still don't much care for (but you shall look at it and you shall love it.. I demand it! okay just kidding).

I don't much have anything to talk about. Laziness is never an exciting venture. Tomorrow I plan on getting some stuff done. I really need to get out of the house. Maybe I'll call up an old friend and go on a coffee date. Hmm, sounds quite amazing actually. Well alright I guess I'll get off here now, til tomorrow or whenever I post next!
