cuteness explosion

Hello hello! Anyone proud that I'm posting and it's not even a month+ since my last post? Lol, I'm just thankful I have time to sit here on my computer and do so. Anyways, I keep talking about the pictures I have that are exploding with cuteness... well now I'm going to finally post them for all to see! I don't blame you if you put them as your computer background... they are just that cute, or maybe I'm bias. So without further adieu:

So I went to my sister place this past weekend to spend the night and hangout with the ever so awesome Jacob Riley. The following morning I woke up and was watching TV only to see my BIL come in the room with Jacob on his shoulders, talk about adorable. Somehow Jacob had stripped his PJ shirt off and was being carried around in his little PJ shorts, seriously, who wouldn't want to just eat him up!

So later we dressed little Jacob up to go to Granny's. (My mom, of course) My dad is real big into hunting so he bought Jacob a little camo onesie. Well, my sister has never put him in it before and being the awesome aunt that I am, I decided it was time to strut his stuff camo style. Cute right? So cute that I had to get a picture... don't mind me and my goof face, it just kind of happened. :)

We got to my parents house and hung out for a while. A Jacob-nap later we went swimming. This is Jacob after he went swimming for his second time. :) hehe Yeah too cute, right?

So that's what I've been up to lately...err... Saturday anyways. I don't take pictures at work, not only because they would bore you, so therefore that's basically what I've been up to. More to come soon. :)

mini-fill-in

The past several days have been so beautiful! I almost feel guilty even sitting here typing this instead of laying out by the pool and soaking up as much sun as possible. However, not all is lost, I am sitting outside on my laptop so atleast I am still participating in the beautiful weather ;)

My mom and I have spent SO much time together here lately. I've loved every minute of it. Yesterday we went to Lifeway and I bought a new bible. It's really cute and I'm excited about using it because it's a Life Application Bible. We'll see, I follow up on it in a later post. After leaving there we went to Starbucks and sat outside and enjoyed the weather. I introduced her to their strawberry banana smoothies (which she LOVED) and I got a venti passion fruit tea sweetened with lemonade. (If you've never had one, I highly suggest you go get one...you can blame me for your new found addiction ;) )

We pretty much just diddled around town all day, not much of anything. I started feeling a bit 'under the weather' due to the crazy-high pollen counts here lately. Speaking of, today's is even higher than yesterday! (I don't know the exact number, I just know it's alot thanks to my self-taught meteorologist mother)

Oh and before I forget! I have to mention how amazing church went on Sunday!! As some of you know, I have been having a horrible time finding a church that I really like. Easter Sunday I visited a new church that is held at my old high school. As much as I loved it then, I had to attend again to really see if I liked it. Well, this past Sunday was even better. Even my sister, which is EXTREMELY picky about churches, loved it. I think Jacob did too cause he was all smiles when we picked him up from the nursery :). Unfortunately my brother-in-law, Justin, couldn't make it because he had food poisoning, but my sister said she will definately be back this Sunday, as will I!

Well as for now, I should probably get off here. I need to partake in some much needed 'pick-up' around the house. Needless to say the clothes in my dryer are calling my name... :[ I just wanted to make a quick post to catch ya'll up on my church experience and other random items. I haven't been really posting about myself here lately so I thought I'd at least give ya'll a mini-fill-in.

Good, Bad, & Ugly

Today has been wierd. It's been good, it's been bad, it's been ugly. I had a good day at work. Most of my customers were nice, minus the one bad apple I encountered but I didn't expect less. However the bigger issue in hand has been Jacob Riley. Let's start this off by saying I love this little boy more than anything in the entire world. I never knew the amount of love I was capable of having until he was brought into this world as well as my life. I love this little man as if I were the one that carried him for nine months and had the morning sickness and all. However, some things are not going according to planned. My mom had agreed to keep Jacob while my sister goes to work. She works from 7-3 Monday-Friday. In the beginning it sounded like the best idea possible. My mom is a stay at home mom/house wife and it would keep Jacob from having to be placed into daycare where all sorts of illnesses are being passed around from the flu to chicken pox and unfortunately H1N1. Needless to say someone that is watching him in daycare is not going to be able to provide the love and attention that my mother, his grandmother, could.
However, somethings got to give. All day long we play musical chairs with him. If he's not happy sitting in his swing, we put him in the play pin, if he's not happy there we move him to his bouncy seat, if he's not happy there then we move him to his bed... this goes on from 6AM to 4PM... 5 days a week. My mom can't get anything done around the house or anything that she wants to do (in which she has every right to do, she's already raised her kids...). Anyways long story short my mom can't take it anymore. I don't blame her. She constantly stressed and really it's a bigger deal then it sounds as told. Well this afternoon my mom finally through in the towel and said that she doesn't enjoy keeping him anymore because it stresses her out and she doesn't get to enjoy him because she's too busy mothering him. She agreed to keep him 3 of the 5 days however, my sister flipped out! She raised her voice and started literally yelling at my mother and finally my mom told her to "get the hell out of my house". Once again, I don't blame her. So there's been this huge uproar at home and it's driving me crazy. Poor little guy. I love him so much but my mom is getting too old for this. Sure she's only in her forties but still, it's not my moms place to take part in raising him as much as she is. What it boils down to is my sister is very ungrateful for all that my mom has done and all the money that my mother has saved her and somehow she just doesn't see that.

On another note. I'm suppose to call Jonathan back but for some reason I don't want to. I don't really care to talk to him right now. I'm not mad at him or anything like that but for one night I would like to be able to go to sleep without it involving tears and a stuffy nose. I want to be able to wake up for one morning not feeling hungover because the night before I cried myself to sleep so hard that it caused a migraine. I would like to be able to wake up one morning without swollen eyes and tear stained cheeks. I want my sanity back. I want to be able to stand on a solid ground without feeling like the ground is about to crumble. I've never been so tore up over a guy this much in my entire life. I feel like a little high school girl still blabbing about it. What am I suppose to do? My heart is hurting so much to the point I feel like it's literally broken. I didn't choose to not be with him nor did he choose to not be with me. It just so happened that our paths crossed and now all of a sudden they're going to opposite directions. As much as I want to, I just can't be mad at him for following his dreams. Just like he can't be mad at me for wanting to stick by my family. Blah okay, end subject. No tears, remember?
Tomorrow I going to be pulling a double shift. Hey, I'm not complaining! Hello dollar signs! For some reason though my legs are killing me. Probably from all the running around I did tonight. Ewfff. But yeah, so I'm going to head off here and catch some zzz's. Hopefully I can fall straight to sleep. I drank two beers to make me calm down and get a little sleepy, so maybe just maybe it'll put me straight to sleep. Dear thoughts, please do not invade my brain and keep me from a good nights rest. Kthanks.

Oh, oh! I almost forgot! Wal-mart is carrying a new makeup line in the place of Max Factor, it's called Eye Candy, or some shit like that, I forgot. But anyways, I bought some of their mascara tonight. I hope it works good. Oh and also, I bought that L'oreal roll on foundation just for shits and giggles. I use M.A.C. but I was super interested to see how it works out. Hey if it's cheap but works good, workkk it girllll. *okay let's be real, nothing beats a good ol' MAC foundation... and I do mean nothinggg!* Okay, I'm done.

Goodnight all. :]

homemade by the diva herself

So tonight I customized my blog to the best of my ability of knowing how. I still don't much get the whole concept but whatever. Here it is. Until I decide that spending money for a blog design is worth it or until I can actually get money in the bank, this is what ya get. Homemade by the diva herself. :]

Today's been lazy. I had the day off, like all Monday's. Hungout with my mom and Jacob Riley and basically did nothing but stay in my pajamas and put some hard work into chillaxin, that's all. I watched The Young and the Restless and the Bachelor. Other than that I didn't much watch any TV. Just worked on this for a while till I was satisfied with the design, which I still don't much care for (but you shall look at it and you shall love it.. I demand it! okay just kidding).

I don't much have anything to talk about. Laziness is never an exciting venture. Tomorrow I plan on getting some stuff done. I really need to get out of the house. Maybe I'll call up an old friend and go on a coffee date. Hmm, sounds quite amazing actually. Well alright I guess I'll get off here now, til tomorrow or whenever I post next! Goodnight fellow bloggers, even though none of you are reading this. :] hehe.

ZzZzZz...

I feel completely beat. I guess from where I've done nothing but rest for the past two weeks due to being sick work tonight really took it's toll. I only worked for five hours but I still feel ran down. Oh well, I gotta get back into the groove somehow.

Other than work I've done basically nothing today. I woke up and played with Jacob for a minute until he gave up and fell asleep haha. It was precious though because he had his pacifier in his mouth and he would just doze off for a minute and then start sucking his pacifier then dose back off... and the pattern continued. I can't help but to love him more and more everyday. As soon as I woke up I walked over to him and he just sat there and gave me the biggest smile. Today he turned exactly three months old and I feel like it was just yesterday he was coming home.
On another note. My sister just had to bring up mine and Jonathan's break-up as soon as I got to work. Of course, I ended up falling apart all over again. My mom had apparently told her about it because my mom was the only one that knew and my sister tried to slide it in there life oh hey what are you doing when you get off work... oh well why aren't you going to Jonathan's... yeah okay I've been her sister for 21 years I know how she works. She was trying to juice me, I'm not dumb. Plain and simple I told her and everyone else that was currently present in the room that Jonathan and I were no longer together and that I was leaving it at that until I was completely ready to talk about it. Everyone left it at that because it was apparent that I was coming unglued. It's been two days since the whole thing happened and let's be honest, I'm still a wreck. I absolutely hate knowing that I love him with all my heart and that he loves me just as much yet here we are split up. I almost want to be mad at God for putting him in my life just to take him away. Yet, I find that somehow I can't be mad. I can't be mad at God and I can't be mad at Jonathan. I don't blame Jonathan for wanting to leave Clarksville... there's nothing to offer here, Tennessee in general, really.

Okay the tears are starting to flow. My thoughts are going a million miles per hour. I can't think straight at all. I'm off for the night.
