fire on aisle 9

Is it me, or does everyone have a huge obsession/love for some Wally World? Seriously, I could go and spend hours upon hours wandering around! (side note: my past roomate, Courtney, and I use to go to Wal-Mart with only each other cause all of our other friends were always wanting to get in-and-out yet we always want to explore) Nevertheless, this week I went to Wal-mart and had a very successful shopping trip. Probably spending more than I should have, but come on! Who can deny those roll back prices!! Anywayssss. In spite of it being earth day, I bought a eco-friendly bath body pouf! I originally picked up a not eco-friendly pouf, then saw the ones that were... I decided to go with it instead. It never hurts to get a little more green! Okay, plus it was three cents cheaper... but that wasn't my deciding factor.

Along with my new eco-friendly toy, I bought the basic necessities. Body wash, a few last-minute cosmetics (being that I normally shop MAC and MAC only...), some deoderant, my mom's mother day present, and a few greeting cards. (I've been feeling like I need to start sending more cards here lately, I don't know why but I feel like I do, but I'll save that for a later elaboration!)

So as I head towards the checkout lines I always go through them and kinda see who has what and how many shoppers, etc. ::keep pushing shopping cart:: Scccccccuurrr! (that's the sound of my carts breaks, if you must know) Hello checkout number 9! Never once have I seen a hot wal-mart employee. Number 9... oh my gosh... you are SEX-AY! So I pull my cart in, of course making sure I don't have any embarrassing items ie. condoms (because I buy them so often :sarcasm:), tampons, ...monistat? Nope, I'm in the clear. I wait behind the one person that is in his line. Of course, being my seductive-sexy-just got off of work- no make-up-rough hair... I stand there admiring hot boy number 9. OH OH OH! It's my turn. My turn to watch him scan my items, mmmhmmm!! Wait, what, NO!! As I pull up this fat girl comes up and says, "Okay, you can go on break now". WTF, seriously fat ass, now? Bitch. As I try to keep my composure I think about how bad I want to bitch slap this fatty-fat-so who just stole my one moment to meet the sexy number nine. He could've been my soul mate, she interfered with fate! (okay seriously, I wasn't that torn up over it but it makes a good story, riiiight!?!)

Continue rant:
I leave, put my stuff in the car, turn on 'Pour Some Sugar On Me' by Def Leppard... and if you haven't figured it out yet- I hold "Haley Idol" in my car no matter where I'm going. So I pull out of my parking spot meanwhile singing extremely loud- like windshield shattering style, and who's helping an elderly woman take her stuff to her car? Number 9 :enter orgasm: :orgasm abruptly ends when realizing he is staring at me like I've lost my mind: Sigh. Obviously it wasn't meant to be. Duh. I basically laughed all the way home about the incident. Probably because I feel like something as stupid as that would only happen to me.

I thought I would entertain you all with my fascinating Wal-mart trip, or maybe it's only fascinating to me. Either way, at least I posted at all. Tootles for now my lovely readers.

[Side note: Make sure you watch out for my May 1st post. It's pretty damn special.]

Terrific Tuesdayyy!

Today has all around been a good day! Nothing too significant happened. I woke up kinda, okay really late for me anyways. Got up at 10'ish and automatically went to see what Jacob was up to. He's finally learned how to grab things and hold them up. Of course, he hasn't fully got the hang of it yet... but he's getting there. I came into the kitchen and he was in his bouncy seat with his little blue elephant toy. It was super cute :) Anyways, I hung out with that cute little booger for a little bit then took a shower and got ready for work. Today I went in 2 hours early so my sister could get some grocery shopping and other errands done before picking Jacob up. OH! I almost forgot, something extremely significant happened today! Well, significant i'm not so sure of, but exciting indeed! Jacob got accepted into The Giving Tree!! We were all super excited, especially considering he wasn't even suppose to get the opportunity to be accepted until August! Woop Woop! Go Jacob! Hehe.

Jacob Riley and I hanging out today! He's so precious!

Sorry the picture isn't exactly centered, I took it with my phone :\

So on another post, I informed ya'll that I bought a new pair of heels, a clutch and two shirts. Here's what they look like!

The Shirts. from Rue21, on sale 6$ a piece!

The Heels from TJ Maxx, they're NineWest

The Clutch I absolutely love this clutch because it has so many compartments! from TJ Maxx as well.

So there's my lovely items I bought Saturday. Who can beat 12$ for two shirts!? Seriously? Amazing. The heels were only $60 and the clutch was only $14. I love all of the stuff I got, especially since it was all so cheap! hehe. Next Wednesday I think my co-workers and I are going to be heading to Nashville for another night at PLAY.* I can't wait! I love it there! So that should be pretty exciting. Hopefully this week will end up pretty good in the meantime.

Hope everyone's week is going good so far!

Good, Bad, & Ugly

Today has been wierd. It's been good, it's been bad, it's been ugly. I had a good day at work. Most of my customers were nice, minus the one bad apple I encountered but I didn't expect less. However the bigger issue in hand has been Jacob Riley. Let's start this off by saying I love this little boy more than anything in the entire world. I never knew the amount of love I was capable of having until he was brought into this world as well as my life. I love this little man as if I were the one that carried him for nine months and had the morning sickness and all. However, some things are not going according to planned. My mom had agreed to keep Jacob while my sister goes to work. She works from 7-3 Monday-Friday. In the beginning it sounded like the best idea possible. My mom is a stay at home mom/house wife and it would keep Jacob from having to be placed into daycare where all sorts of illnesses are being passed around from the flu to chicken pox and unfortunately H1N1. Needless to say someone that is watching him in daycare is not going to be able to provide the love and attention that my mother, his grandmother, could.
However, somethings got to give. All day long we play musical chairs with him. If he's not happy sitting in his swing, we put him in the play pin, if he's not happy there we move him to his bouncy seat, if he's not happy there then we move him to his bed... this goes on from 6AM to 4PM... 5 days a week. My mom can't get anything done around the house or anything that she wants to do (in which she has every right to do, she's already raised her kids...). Anyways long story short my mom can't take it anymore. I don't blame her. She constantly stressed and really it's a bigger deal then it sounds as told. Well this afternoon my mom finally through in the towel and said that she doesn't enjoy keeping him anymore because it stresses her out and she doesn't get to enjoy him because she's too busy mothering him. She agreed to keep him 3 of the 5 days however, my sister flipped out! She raised her voice and started literally yelling at my mother and finally my mom told her to "get the hell out of my house". Once again, I don't blame her. So there's been this huge uproar at home and it's driving me crazy. Poor little guy. I love him so much but my mom is getting too old for this. Sure she's only in her forties but still, it's not my moms place to take part in raising him as much as she is. What it boils down to is my sister is very ungrateful for all that my mom has done and all the money that my mother has saved her and somehow she just doesn't see that.

On another note. I'm suppose to call Jonathan back but for some reason I don't want to. I don't really care to talk to him right now. I'm not mad at him or anything like that but for one night I would like to be able to go to sleep without it involving tears and a stuffy nose. I want to be able to wake up for one morning not feeling hungover because the night before I cried myself to sleep so hard that it caused a migraine. I would like to be able to wake up one morning without swollen eyes and tear stained cheeks. I want my sanity back. I want to be able to stand on a solid ground without feeling like the ground is about to crumble. I've never been so tore up over a guy this much in my entire life. I feel like a little high school girl still blabbing about it. What am I suppose to do? My heart is hurting so much to the point I feel like it's literally broken. I didn't choose to not be with him nor did he choose to not be with me. It just so happened that our paths crossed and now all of a sudden they're going to opposite directions. As much as I want to, I just can't be mad at him for following his dreams. Just like he can't be mad at me for wanting to stick by my family. Blah okay, end subject. No tears, remember?
Tomorrow I going to be pulling a double shift. Hey, I'm not complaining! Hello dollar signs! For some reason though my legs are killing me. Probably from all the running around I did tonight. Ewfff. But yeah, so I'm going to head off here and catch some zzz's. Hopefully I can fall straight to sleep. I drank two beers to make me calm down and get a little sleepy, so maybe just maybe it'll put me straight to sleep. Dear thoughts, please do not invade my brain and keep me from a good nights rest. Kthanks.

Oh, oh! I almost forgot! Wal-mart is carrying a new makeup line in the place of Max Factor, it's called Eye Candy, or some shit like that, I forgot. But anyways, I bought some of their mascara tonight. I hope it works good. Oh and also, I bought that L'oreal roll on foundation just for shits and giggles. I use M.A.C. but I was super interested to see how it works out. Hey if it's cheap but works good, workkk it girllll. *okay let's be real, nothing beats a good ol' MAC foundation... and I do mean nothinggg!* Okay, I'm done.

Goodnight all. :]
