Sunday adventure

So today I went on an adventure, well maybe not to others but with my schedule here lately it was pretty adventurous. Honey, TRex, Miller, and I went to Grand Rivers, Kentucky to eat at Patti's 1800's Settlement. All of the waiters and waitresses were dressed to the date, even the workers in the gift shop. It may have more fun if it was warm outside, you can't exactly putt putt golf in the cold. The food was good, the shops were unique and very well overpriced. Considering Miller and I went with the mindset that we were going to be able to do a bit a shopping we weren't 100% satisfied.

After we over ate and consumed much more than the average intake on calories we decided we would head back to Clarksville and get our shopping on. Miller and I both got some super cute heels, not really sure of her designer but mine was Gianni Bini. Black wedges with silver detailing on the toe and 65% off? Uh yes! The boys decides to part ways and take are of some shopping themselves. Upon exiting the mall we looked at the Kardashian collection now being sold at Sears...total let down. They had a cute purse or two and their jewelry wasn't completely awful but as far as their clothing selection I was not impressed to say the least.

After shopping we called it a day by getting some smoothies and heading back to the house. We just finished watching Friends With Benefits- yes I'm just now seeing it- and I loved it! Now I'm gonna bathe and probably lay in bed and relax.

My Sunday? Not too shabby.

hello, goodbye

First things first this has been one busy Sunday! But plenty of fun. Woke up and drank coffee then headed straight for work. Then I went and picked up little Jacob Riley so we could take him to Kids N Play for Honey's cousins birthday party. Honeys family loveddd him, I mean who couldn't? Even though he hadnt had a nap he was still behaving extremely well. We left there and headed to Honeys where we watched some history show on sharks, because Jacob is obsessed with them! Him and I crawled in the recliner and took a nap while Honey took a cat nap on the sofa. I didn't even realize we had all fallen asleep till honey woke me up and told me it was time to go to Little S's going away party.

Do I really need to explain how hard it was waking this precious boy up? He actually wasn't cranky at all. He did, however, stare at me like I had five heads when he finally opened his eyes. It didn't take him too long to figure out where he was though. He turned and saw TRex standing in the kitchen and just stared. Apparently he's never scene such an abundance of muscle lol. He even behaved for his diaper change. Woopwoop!

We headed to the party where I returned him to his mommy yet wanted nothing todo with her and everything to do with his Pawpaw. Once again he was the life of the party...

Mogo decided to put his hair in a ponytail on top of his head, he definitely was not a fan. He's sitting by his pawpaw, no surprise there.

It was so hard saying goodbye. Work isn't going to be the same without Little S. Not only was it hard saying goodbye to S but to Jacob as well. I already miss that little man.

Running after a two year old all day completely wore honey and I out. Honeys in bed as I'm typing and I'm about to head that way myself.

I'm definitely not ready for the work week ahead. I haven't decided whether or not to confront Bee on her betraying actions or not. Maybe I'll let her continue thinking she's playing me like a fool in order to keep peace. As far as pretending everything is okay though I'm not going there. I'm not going to treat her as if she's any type of friend to me let alone a best friend. Trust is one thing I don't give very easily and once you betray that...HOLLA!

Hope everyone had a fab weekend. Mine was topped off pretty splendidly.

Holidays 2011 and a giveaway

It has become apparent to me that I try to juggle too many balls, put too many eggs in my basket, and make too many false promises to myself. I've been swallowed up alive in my busyness and it would be nice to just sit back and breath. The question I've been asking myself literally all week? Where the hell does my time go!? I don't even have kids like seriously...ready to scream. Nevertheless I will fill you in on all that I mentioned before or atleast try to touch base. I "promised" mysel I would make an extravagant post with one of those giveaway copters and all. But really? I'm posting from my iPhone because time does not bare much more. So yeah here's the Christmas run down:

Long time bestie Beezie and I at the game. Christmas eve Honey and I went to the titans game then headed to my parents house. We spent the evening with my parents, uncle, and grandfather. Possibly the best Christmas eve I've ever had including childhood. It was my grandfathers (we will call him Big J) first Christmas in society and not in prison in six years. We definitely made it one he could cherish and having him there meant the world. My mom and I spent the evening cooking up some goodies: sausage balls, pigs in a blanket, and our newly added tradition:

buffalo turds!
They're hollowed out peppers with some sort of cream cheese mixture for the filling and wrappe with bacon and then baked. Delicious!!

Mine and Honey's first Christmas Eve together :)

Dad and Honey. Funny story: Honey made Apple Pie Moonshine and my grandfather asked what was in it. When he replied 'everclear' my grandfather responded "EVERQUEER!?" so when this picture was taken I had just said "aw look how cute y'all are " and my grandfather (commenting on the fact that they were siting in a small recliner together) says "yeah they both must've got ahold of some of that EVERQUEER. Hahahah. Okay moving on.... Christmas day sister BIL and little baby bumble came over. We indulged in all the yummy food and then headed to unwrap presents. This year was definitely not about "my presents" for me. It was more about seeing how excited the presents I bought for others made them. I think I did a pretty good job in that area. Oh! And baby bumble Jacob got a cute tricycle!!

Pawpaw (my dad) and lil Jacob taking the new tricycle for a text drive. He loved it! Later honey and I went off to DTown to his family's gathering. I love them so much! It's like they've just always been my family. Afterwards we went to his parents and stayed the night. The following morning we did Christmas with his parents sister BIL and their kids. Fun overload.

Honey and I Christmas day. New years eve we went to dinner with my parents and A couple that is family friends. Later we picked up T-Rex and headed to Mogo's house and played some games and what not. what I'm loving Wednesday

It has been quite some time since I last linked up with a bandwagon so I feel a little past due. With not much else on my mind other than that night I figure why not! So here I am linking up with Jamie for What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm loving that there's only four days left till Christmas! That means only three days left till Honey and I switch presents! I love presents :) Eh hem, speaking of.. I'm loving that I already have all my shopping AND wrapping completed!! Score, boss!

At work we had a ballin' ass lunch along with a ballin' ass total for the entire day! Being that it's winter business comes to a halt so to see a big turn out is pretty darn exciting. I know, I may be too invested into work...

This morning I almost decided to forego weighing in. I've been super stressed and I skipped a day at the gym last week so I knew I had to have gained a pound(s) rather than losing. I grew some balls (don't worry they fell off shortly after) and weighed in. I've reached 11lbs lost!! Oh I'm loving it for sure!

Might I just add that I am loving my family and friends. Seriously, they are the effing best. I would be crazy if I thought otherwise.

So what are you loving?

a deathly experience

I don't know how to start this blog post off and I doubt there could be any right way to do so. I will tell you this, I do not know how available I'm going to be over the next week or so- mentally or physically. Last night was possibly one of the worst experiences that someone could go through.

We went downtown to celebrate my birthday. Needless to say the place we chose was a sorry excuse for a club so we basically sat there and stared at each other all night. Not quite eventful to say the least. We finally decided to leave around 1:45 or so to head home, I'm not quite sure of the exact time because everything seems so fuzzy looking back now. Honey was driving me and two of my friends home when all of a sudden the car in front of us swerved and Miller was screaming "stop the car there's a man!!". It was too late. We didn't see the man at first because the other car had blocked him. We hit the man while slamming on our breaks and trying to move over to the side, you can't avoid hitting someone when they run into your car instead of away from it. As his body hit the windshield panic set in. we just killed someone. Honey got out, I called 911, by the time I got them on the phone I was panicked and couldn't speak Honey came back over and took care of the phone call. The ambulance arrived and he still had a pulse and breathing. Long story short three hours, hyperventilation, panic attack, and a multitude of tears and questions answered we got to go home with the knowledge that the man passed away in the hospital.

This morning I woke up with an hour and a half of sleep and my heart is still weak. My prayers have been nonstop and my thoughts are endless. The news announced at 5 o'clock that the man had been drinking. I understand there is nothing that we could have done, we werent doing anything illegal and there was no foul play but my heart still hurts for his family.

My giveaway is going to have to hold off. Hopefully I will be back to myself soon. For now I'm spaced out as well as tired from the lack of sleep. Please be praying for this mans family and if you don't pray, then do whatever it is that you do.

Guest Post: Mogo

If you didn't read Sunday's post, you might want to head back there and then read the posts between now and then. Just to catch up on what this week is about. ;)

So as a specialty, and to switch things up a bit because I'm sure you're bored with me loving me talking about Honey and all the mush n gush, I have asked my friend Mogo to share her love story.

Meet Mogo, a coworker and friend, and her beau Manny.

August 21, 2009 I decided to head to a party where I met up with some friends. I was only 18 and as it would be at any party there was lots of drinking goin on. A female cop showed up as well as backup. One of these cops was Manny. After trying to bribe my way out of an underage drinking charge he told me there was nothing he could do about it because he was not the initial cop to the scene.

Time passed without seeing him or anything of the sort. In May 2010 my friend asked me to go to a carnival with her new boy toy and some guy he was bringing. Turns out, it was the cop Manny. After a long night of fun we exchanged numbers.

On May 17th of that same year he asked me to join him in a peaceful night at home watching movies and hanging out. By this point we were officially dating. After a while of dating, understatement because it was months, I decided to give him till October 20th to decide I he wanted to make me his girl friend. I figured if he didn't know by then, then it wasn't worth me sticking around for. On the 20th we finally made it official, we were a couple.

Surprisingly I learned that I was pregnant December 19th and my baby boy was born on August 24, 2011. Though it came unexpected it brought us closer as a couple. I realized I was in love with him the first time I ever saw him hold our son. Though our meeting was quite unordinary I wouldn't change anything. I have my happy little family under one roof and that's all I need.
----
Ahh! Their story is precious, yet sort of funny hehe. I would love to hear more of ya'lls stories. I'm planning on having another guest post this week so if you're interested email me!

breaking cynical

Note, I above all people hated everything and anything to do with the Twilight saga. Twilight lovers, do not stop here, keep reading. I even cringed when I heard people talking about it. It literally drove me nuts. Vampires? Werewolves? No thank you, get a life and get back to reality. Please and thank you.

Monday furthermore pushed me away from the ridiculousness. All said and done, I was not giving up my girls night. I want this. I need this. I'm going to make it happen at any cost even if its at the cost of me sitting through a two hour movie cringing my teeth and though going unsaid, making fun of everyone around me.

The twist: my friend, short we'll say Mogo a nickname given to her at work, informed me that she didn't want me to go unless I've seen the first three because she didn't want me to ask questions all throughout the movie she knows me too well. Cringing the entire time I agreed to watch the first three movies. Day to start watching them: Thursday after work at three. Day they must be finished: Friday, after work at three finished by 9:50PM. Long story short, I have had to cram in 6 hours worth of movies followed by another 2 hours of a movie in the theatre. Challenge accepted. Challenge completed. I'm in LOVE.

Public announcement: I apologize to anyone I've ever picked at for being a Twilight obsessed lunatic. After I watched the first one, glued in sitting on the edge of the bed, not even batting an eyelash...I could've stayed up all night watching the other two if it weren't for getting up for work at 5:30AM the next morning.

Prior to viewing, I had made plans with my bestie, Bee for short, to go thrift shopping coming in a later post. My idea was to go to the three thrift store in town and then go home and fast forward through the second and third movies. Skipping most, but still catching the drift of what was taking place. Oh no, plans halted, idea changed. We hit up one thrift store, quickly to add, and went our separate ways in order to meet up that night for the dreadful viewing, waiting in line, and being surrounded by the obsessed. I quickly made it home, skipping a cigarette break and all, popped the DVD in, and skipped through my favorite part—the previews. After New Moon was over, still skipping a cigarette break and not minding my overflowing bladder, I popped in the Eclipse and continued to be glued to the television screen.

Unfortunately I still didn't have time to finish all of it, I tried to fast forward through the parts where they are just gazing into each others eyes and whatnot but still tried to get the big picture, which was accomplished. I hardly put on any makeup, threw on a hoodie, straightened out my hair from where it had been messed up from laying on a pillow, and made my way to the theatre as quickly, and safely I might add, as possible. The movie started at 9:50 we got there at 9 and still had to wait in line past the food court, our theatre is in the mall. We got the perfect seats and everything.

For short, I cried several times within the 8 hours of movie watching. To say I'm anxious for part two of Breaking Dawn is an understatement. SAB, now that she's talking to me like a human again and not an animal with rabies, told me to just read the book. Honestly I cant bring myself to do it. I didn't read any of the others and I don't want to be let down by the part two of the movie. I can't stop thinking of all the love and passion between Bella and Edward. I feel crazy for now being a Twilight obsessed. But I cannot help it, I'm a sucker for a love story and theirs takes the bate. Even more so than The Notebook or gasp! Romeo and Juliet.

So there's my confession. I would give a review but hell, I'm so torn up over all of it I would probably throw some a ton of spoilers in there.

Your thoughts on Breaking Dawn?

Halloween+Sunday Football

I tried to think of something to rant about but I've got nothing. I've been in a bad mood all day. From the time I woke up to now I'm still grumpy. Honey blames it on the medication, I blame it on his unelaborative text messages. So to give me something to post about I'll post the pictures from our Halloween party this past Saturday night.

I present to you my costume: A royal peacock. Oh I forgot to mention I cut off like 9+ inches of my hair since I last posted a picture.

Honey dressed as Lt. Dangle from Reno 911. The thumbs up makes this priceless.

A picture of us together, just because we're hot. Just saying :)

The party we went to was like mid 20 year olds and older. I thought I would be odd man out since I'm not even 23 yet but really I like partying with the older-than-me crowd more. The party started earlier and ended as well. There was no throwing up nor drama which is always nice. Making it home in time to get my 8+ hours of sleep and not have a hangover? Definitely my bag. Don't worry there were still leg stands lol...

As you see one of the guys (far right) was too cool to dress up...lame ass.

Furthermore we woke up and went to the Titans game on Sunday where the Titans beat the Colts which doesn't say very much. It was nice to see friends and what not.

I'm going to end this post now because I feel like I'm dragging on and on. But posting two weeks in a row? I accept your pat on the back. :)

Oh...and one more picture

Indepence Day Weekend

I hope everyone had a good fourth of July! I'm currently sitting in Honey's driveway listening/watching the neighbors. Honey and I are too cheap to blow our money up so we enjoy others :). When I was little my parents always shot a ton off for us but now that we're older they don't blow their money up anymore either. But I appreciate their pricey entertainment when I was little.

I definitely had a fun filled weekend. Honey and I started early on Friday. I got up and he went to work. I met my mom at the eye doctor so she could help me pick out some new glasses that I'm super excited about! I've worn the same glasses since I was in middle school. Obviously my vision has changed quite a bit and needless to say they don't quite fit my face anymore lol. So I'm pretty pumped! After that my mom and I headed back to the house to enjoy a day in the pool. I ended up getting a bit red but nothing a little aloe couldn't take care of.

Saturday started out good then rough then great. I went into work and did my daily routine then as I was heading out I got news that one of the employees that has been on the line of getting her third write up didn't show up to work. So I rearranged the schedule and headed to the other store to do some firing and rearranging of next weeks schedule. Mission completed I headed home where my sexy boyfriend was waiting for me in the pool along with my family and grandaddy.

Honey & I at Matt's Pub

Later I cleaned up and got beautified and Honey and I headed to Dover to a pub and hung out with some friends. Him and I shared our very first dance which was wonderful! We danced to brad paisleys 'everything'. Ah I loved it :) Sunday however, I woke up with a hangover from staying up till 4am drinking beer with Honey's momma and having a drunken heart to heart. Hopefully I can go into a little more detail about that tomorrow along with the other random conversation that happened this weekend. Today we returned to Dover to spend time with his family and go on te boat where we stayed 30mins on the water and then headed back in because of rain. Poo! Oh well it cleared up and we enjoyed a good home cooked meal by his momma. Now I'm relaxing from a long weekend. And here shortly I'll e going to bed for an early start in the morning.

Hope everyone else had an amazing independence day weekend!!

The Buffalo

So can anyone gimme a round of applause for writing my first review!? Ha, of course it would be a sex toy, what else could I have possibly reviewed that I could enjoy any better. Hehe jk. Any who. Now as promised, because I'm on the ball this week, canoe trip pictures!

First and foremost, I'm going to go ahead and warn you that the majority of these pictures makeup was non existent and I look rather busted. Just saying. :)

These two were seriously adorable together. They were like a little old married couple and she was definitely the mom in the group. Ha.

Ha does anyone notice A. Honey is the shortest of the group. B. Honey has the BEST body in the group and C. My Honey is the sexiest out of the group, okay maybe that's a little bias but I'm entitled to it. :)

He represents Tennessee so poorly....

Obviously taken the second day. Obviously alcohol was highly involved.

FAVORITE (;

Can I just say Honey is a genius? No running water so how did we brush our teeth?! COLGATE WISPS! Obviously a huge hit with everyone else as well.

The first day we were there we were floating down the river only to see this canoe floating down the river beside us, all while a guy was doing a keg stand...on the canoe. Seriously?!

I don't remember exactly what happened to this tent but obviously it was the retarded tent of the camp site. Just saying.

Home sweet home-- right before we left for Fat Daddy's Resort. (a floating bar :) )

Okay wahlah, pictures posted. I stuck to my word. :)

Don't forget to enter in my last minute giveaway!

football fun

Hooray! Pictures from this weekends Titans games.. oh ya know the one where the Tennessee Titans decided to beat some Oakland Raiders ass! Heck yes. That one :)

Anyways, we (J and I) decided to tailgate with a party of two, him and I, before the game. Two hours later we left the parking lot and went inside the stadium to cheer on our team.

Meet J. Has anybody put two and two together that this is the first ever reveal of J? If you don't know much about J, read back to previous posts. Simply put: We've been friends since high school, and well, I'm crazy about him. (and he doesn't even know it).

J & I. You'll have to excuse our sweatiness. It was an absolute scorcher out!

L & I. L is my partner in crime when it comes to the games. Considering we sit in a male infested zone, we help each other survive the testosterone overload. However, we're always defeated. :)

I absolutely love this picture. It's basically the definition of our friendship. :)

Okay, so let's take it back high school style shall we? This picture excites me just for the fact that later, after the game, I actually did get a kiss. ::SQUEALS WITH EXCITEMENT!:: We're just that nerdy ;)

I've been to tons of football games over the years. Whether they be professional, college, or high school level... I've been to more then I can count. However, I have never had as much fun at a game as I did with J on Sunday. I really can't even explain it.

I just hope I can have a repeat again this weekend. :)

an update

As previously mentioned, I've been on blogcation. For some reason or another I have felt so miserably overwhelmed yet not much has gone on. Strange I know, just bare with me. I posted pictures about the flood that took place. Due to the flood, alot more people have been eating out at restaurants thus meaning we've been crazy busy. Needless to say, with summer approaching business will continue to pick up. (We cater, so we're constantly doing weddings, reunions, business parties, fishing tournaments etc.) Plus, who doesn't love some good bbq in the summer!?

Furthermore, alot has taken place. We kept Jacob for a whole weekend due to the flood; he originally was only suppose to stay for one night because my sister and BIL went to a concert in Memphis. However, due to the flood they were stuck down there. So we had oodles of fun with him! I have lots of pictures from that weekend but I don't want to go all 'picture-overload' on ya'll. HA! Also my mom seriously injured her knee and for those of you who regularly read up on me... ya'll know I've been catering to all her needs :)

Last Friday I decided to gather myself and go visit my friend Josh. The last time I did I absolutely broke down and couldn't stop crying. I guess reality finally sunk in. I decided to take a few pictures of him before I departed. Just because I think it's beautiful. I guess because it was created for him and with him in mind, needless to say he's a beautiful person.

If you didn't pick up before, my friend Josh has passed away. He was in the United States Army. On his tour in Iraq him and his team were in a vehicle and they encountered an improvised bomb that was in the road. Due to the explosive, he didn't make it out alive. I still think about him a lot. He was the first person who ever talked to me when I moved to Clarksville. He accepted me for who I was and not the rumors that were being spread about me. Once again, upon visitation I balled and squalled. Every visit is different. Every visit I cry over something different. He will always remain in my heart and never be forgotten.

With that being said I am going to go for now. I can't quite say when I'll be back to post. Hopefully not too long. Please be patient with me, I've had a lot going on. :)

If you haven't caught from previous mentioning, I have a new blog as well. It may peak some interest with you, may not. Either way you can find it here.

Why lookie there! What do we have here!

{via google images}
Ah, it's that time. I promised this week that I would get around to posting the pictures that I have been promising for close to a month now. Well, here they are. Warning, you may suffer from POS {photo-overload-syndrome} by the time you finish this... that is... if you make it to the end. :] I hope all of you have a fabulous hump day (ok maybe I'm immature but I always giggle at that). Oh and btw, I ended up only working 8 hours instead of 13!! Wooot wooot! My dad called in reinforcement because well, mother-nature took a hard hit at me. Today was rough, to say the least. Nevertheless, I'll stop babbling. I hope you all enjoy and I didn't just waste a buncha time. (hence, my computer is slow as hell).

Ah! We meet the end of the road!! I hope you enjoyed my not so pro photo skills. HA! A few points before I go to sleep aka end this blog post... Did anyone watch Idol tonight? I'm so happy ol'girl went home. Too bad she didn't carry out her performances like she did on her last song... she might of had a chance. Face it, she gave up! Also, I'm thinking about doing a giveaway once I reach 10 followers. When I get a few more over 10, I think I'm going to treat myself to a BBB blog design. Just a thought! Anyways okay I'm going... forrreal this time. Goodnight my beauties.
