This is my third entry today. Cut me some slack, I haven't been able to post in a while so now I'm letting loose and getting wild with it! haha. I even made a new layout. :) Hooray! Anyways... To catch you up on what's been left unsaid:
Jonathan and I are no longer on talking terms. I'm okay with that. I don't see the point in him remaining in my life if all he's going to do is pick arguments. Therefore, dumping the baggage has left me feeling relieved and lively!
I came down with a sinus infection last weekend. My dad gave it to my mom, my mom gave it to me, and my dad gave it to basically all the employees as well. So last Saturday was pretty rough. Three people had sinus infections and one had strep throat. So those who weren't sick had to end up pulling long hours to cover the shifts of those who were.
Two Wednesday's ago I went out with my co-workers. We went to Nashville to a gay club called PLAY. It was TOO much fun! Though my parents raised some eyebrows when I told them that's where we were going, after all was said and done they peaked interest as well. Everyone there is so happy and inviting. Afterall, considering it's a gay club it finally gives freedom to the gay community to be themselves with no scrutiny to follow. So who couldn't be happy? I met tons of amazing people! Needless to say, if you've never seen a drag show, you definately should look into it! To my suprise, the club was extremely clean, there was no drama, and the atmosphere felt extremely safe [unlike many other bars]. Anyways, needless to say, it was the most fun I've had in a very long long time!
My mom finally threw in the towel and told my sister she was going to have to take Jacob to daycare because she just can't stop her life anymore. (afterall, I don't blame her... she doesn't even have time to clean the house anymore. and if any of you reading this know me, you know my mom is a clean freak) So my mom and sister went daycare browsing. They went to The Giving Tree, they were both impressed with the high standards that were present. After their trips, my sister came to the realization it would be healthier to get him into daycare where he can socialize and mingle. After all was said and done, it came out to be a positive thing...which is always a plus!
Last night was really good. It's definately something I needed. I went to have coffee with Sidney at Starbucks. We stayed there for a while until we decided to go on a little bit of a shopping tour. A pair of heels, a black clutch, two shirts, and a birthday present later I met up with one of my best friends, Abbie. She attends school at Auburn but was in town for the weekend. We met up at APSU then went downtown. We first went to the Tap Room where we were hit on by army guys. Courtney and Abbie quickly dismissed themselves to the bar. I continued being a bitch to the guy because he wasn't getting the point that I, nor my friends, were interested in him or anything he might have to offer. Later we got the munchies so we headed downstairs to the Blackhorse Pub & Brewery where we got the famous beer cheese dip... that stuff is all of amazing! Then we parted our ways after running into a few people we knew and finishing our dip. I then headed to get gas then make my way to Speak Easy. I felt the need to make an appearance since I hadn't been there in such a long time. Of course as soon as I walked in everyone automatically came up and attacked me with hugs and the casual "oh my gosh where have you been". I quickly made my departure and headed home where I crawled in bed and fell fast asleep. :]
Now that you are all caught up I will now tell you why my dogs name, of all names, is Bootie. One weekend my parents and I went to the flea market. We weren't set out on getting anything particular we were just there to browse. Then we stumbled upon a little booth set up where an elderly couple had a play pin with a few shih tzu's in it. Of course, being the dog lovers that we are we strolled over and picked one up. While all of the other pups were sleeping there was just one little boy staring upwards as if he were saying, "please pick me, I promise I'll behave!" Needless to say he came home with us that evening. We already had one little girl shih tzu, the now late Samantha. Needless to say it took us forever to actually name him. We thought about everything: butterball, nugget, lil boy, prince, etc. Finally my mom was introduced to the song 'Bootylicious' by Destiny's Child. So after two weeks of calling him "HEY" my mom started telling him he was bootylicious and then it stuck. Of course, we cut it down to just "Bootie" but really a name couldn't fit him better. He's definately my precious baby. I love him. :] So there's that story hehe.
Okay, now that I've written a novel, I'm getting sleepy. So goodnight for now, I hope everyone had a good weekend!!

Photo Tag!
Thanks to Bailey at Addicted To Addison I am now doing a photo tag post! I love little things like this, so of course I got super excited and giddy! So anyways, here we go...
The Rules:
1. open your 1st photo folder.
2. scroll to the 10th photo.
3. post the photo and the story behind it.
4. tag 5 or more people.
Meet Bootie!
Bootie is my lovely shih tzu. He's my absolute world, really! [What's behind the name? It will come later...] Anyways, we had just finished putting in our pool and having the fence installed and what not in this picture. Bootie is definately an indoor dog but when we're outside he goes as well. Before we had the fence we always had to keep a close eye on him and he really couldn't have full freedom. Well, once the fence was installed we would just go do whatever on the porch while Bootie did his own thing. So this was the first day Bootie got to enjoy some more freedom, he rolled around in the grass and played and then finally wore himself out... so he sunbathed! :]
Hope you enjoyed my photo tag! Considering I haven't made lots of blog friends yet,I can't really tag anyone. However, I will tag Terisa over at Terisa Simpson in hopes that she will get back into her blog!! lol.

show us your life- beauty tips & favorite products
Bailey, over at AddictedToAddison, made a "show us your life" post recently. Though I've been meaning to do the same, due to complications with my computer I'm just now getting to it. So let the fun begin!!
First and foremost, when it comes to make-up... I swear by M.A.C.! I started using it my freshman year in high school (approx. 8ish years ago, or something like that) and I've never went back to drug store cosmetics.:)
One. Prep+Prime Skin
I personally like to call this my magic potion :) You apply it before applying your foundation, and it helps keep your foundation in place throughout the day. Before I got this good stuff my makeup would be all blotchy and what not by the end of the day but considering it helps regulate the oil in your pores it keeps your foundation put.
Two. Zoom Lash
There's no mascara (that I've been able to find) that beats MAC's Zoom Lash. It's pretty much a tube filled with all your eyelash needs. It plumps, curls, and lengthens.
Three. Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15
This is the foundation I use. It's very light, so it doesn't feel like my face is caked on. It's the best coverage I have found from a foundation. I highly recommend getting this good stuff. And of course, it's MAC :]
Four. Select Sheer/Pressed
This is one of my all time favorite powders. I don't recommend using it without a light weight foundation underneath because it's not neccessarily the best for full on coverage. I always apply it on top of my Studio Fix because it's good for "setting" your foundation. Plus it extremely light, hence "sheer".
Five. Eyeshadow
First a foremost, MAC eyeshadow can be a little on the pricey side. It's sold at $14.50 per color, but that's why I pick and choose exactly what colors I get. (example: I don't go and buy a turquoise color for my halloween outfit, chances are I won't be wearing it very often so there's no need to spend that amount of money for just one color. ya dig?) Anyways, moving on. I get most of my basics from here. My two favorites that I just can't seem to get away from are the colors "Hush" and "Cranberry". MAC eyeshadows are extremely pigmented so when applying they appear exactly as they do in the case. (whereas if you buy covergirl and the color looks as though its black yet it goes on gray... now, if you buy mac black, trust me its going to be BLACK).
Six. Blush
Oh yes, it's true... I don't use ALL mac products. I really love cliniques blush. It's extremely light weight and well pigmented and it also blends extremely well.
Seven. Clinique's Skin Care
I use it all. The facewash, the toner, and the moisturizer. It's affordable and it keeps my face in shape. :)
Eight. Osis 'Dust-It'
This stuff it genius. I don't always feel like teasing my hair a little to get that good poof going so this stuff is good to keep in reach. It's like a powder and you just simply put it in your hands then mess your hair up then comb your hair into place. It's great for giving your hair some texture so you can work with it. This is a Schwarzkopf product so chances are you will either half to buy it online or through your cosmetologist.
Nine. GVP Hairspray
I've used pretty much all the salon hairsprays. None give me the "flexible hold" that I'm really looking for. Then my mom (a cosmetologist) told me about GVP products. GVP (generic value product) is sold at Sally's Beauty Supply. It's extremely cheap but they work. I've also used their root lifter as well as their volumizing gel, I'm a fan of both.
Ten. Chi Straightner
Ok I absolutely swear by my Chi. Nothing works better. I love it. :]
Hope you enjoyed 'my life'.

Good, Bad, & Ugly
Today has been wierd. It's been good, it's been bad, it's been ugly. I had a good day at work. Most of my customers were nice, minus the one bad apple I encountered but I didn't expect less. However the bigger issue in hand has been Jacob Riley. Let's start this off by saying I love this little boy more than anything in the entire world. I never knew the amount of love I was capable of having until he was brought into this world as well as my life. I love this little man as if I were the one that carried him for nine months and had the morning sickness and all. However, some things are not going according to planned. My mom had agreed to keep Jacob while my sister goes to work. She works from 7-3 Monday-Friday. In the beginning it sounded like the best idea possible. My mom is a stay at home mom/house wife and it would keep Jacob from having to be placed into daycare where all sorts of illnesses are being passed around from the flu to chicken pox and unfortunately H1N1. Needless to say someone that is watching him in daycare is not going to be able to provide the love and attention that my mother, his grandmother, could.
However, somethings got to give. All day long we play musical chairs with him. If he's not happy sitting in his swing, we put him in the play pin, if he's not happy there we move him to his bouncy seat, if he's not happy there then we move him to his bed... this goes on from 6AM to 4PM... 5 days a week. My mom can't get anything done around the house or anything that she wants to do (in which she has every right to do, she's already raised her kids...). Anyways long story short my mom can't take it anymore. I don't blame her. She constantly stressed and really it's a bigger deal then it sounds as told. Well this afternoon my mom finally through in the towel and said that she doesn't enjoy keeping him anymore because it stresses her out and she doesn't get to enjoy him because she's too busy mothering him. She agreed to keep him 3 of the 5 days however, my sister flipped out! She raised her voice and started literally yelling at my mother and finally my mom told her to "get the hell out of my house". Once again, I don't blame her. So there's been this huge uproar at home and it's driving me crazy. Poor little guy. I love him so much but my mom is getting too old for this. Sure she's only in her forties but still, it's not my moms place to take part in raising him as much as she is. What it boils down to is my sister is very ungrateful for all that my mom has done and all the money that my mother has saved her and somehow she just doesn't see that.
On another note. I'm suppose to call Jonathan back but for some reason I don't want to. I don't really care to talk to him right now. I'm not mad at him or anything like that but for one night I would like to be able to go to sleep without it involving tears and a stuffy nose. I want to be able to wake up for one morning not feeling hungover because the night before I cried myself to sleep so hard that it caused a migraine. I would like to be able to wake up one morning without swollen eyes and tear stained cheeks. I want my sanity back. I want to be able to stand on a solid ground without feeling like the ground is about to crumble. I've never been so tore up over a guy this much in my entire life. I feel like a little high school girl still blabbing about it. What am I suppose to do? My heart is hurting so much to the point I feel like it's literally broken. I didn't choose to not be with him nor did he choose to not be with me. It just so happened that our paths crossed and now all of a sudden they're going to opposite directions. As much as I want to, I just can't be mad at him for following his dreams. Just like he can't be mad at me for wanting to stick by my family. Blah okay, end subject. No tears, remember?
Tomorrow I going to be pulling a double shift. Hey, I'm not complaining! Hello dollar signs! For some reason though my legs are killing me. Probably from all the running around I did tonight. Ewfff. But yeah, so I'm going to head off here and catch some zzz's. Hopefully I can fall straight to sleep. I drank two beers to make me calm down and get a little sleepy, so maybe just maybe it'll put me straight to sleep. Dear thoughts, please do not invade my brain and keep me from a good nights rest. Kthanks.
Oh, oh! I almost forgot! Wal-mart is carrying a new makeup line in the place of Max Factor, it's called Eye Candy, or some shit like that, I forgot. But anyways, I bought some of their mascara tonight. I hope it works good. Oh and also, I bought that L'oreal roll on foundation just for shits and giggles. I use M.A.C. but I was super interested to see how it works out. Hey if it's cheap but works good, workkk it girllll. *okay let's be real, nothing beats a good ol' MAC foundation... and I do mean nothinggg!* Okay, I'm done.
Goodnight all. :]

homemade by the diva herself
So tonight I customized my blog to the best of my ability of knowing how. I still don't much get the whole concept but whatever. Here it is. Until I decide that spending money for a blog design is worth it or until I can actually get money in the bank, this is what ya get. Homemade by the diva herself. :]
Today's been lazy. I had the day off, like all Monday's. Hungout with my mom and Jacob Riley and basically did nothing but stay in my pajamas and put some hard work into chillaxin, that's all. I watched The Young and the Restless and the Bachelor. Other than that I didn't much watch any TV. Just worked on this for a while till I was satisfied with the design, which I still don't much care for (but you shall look at it and you shall love it.. I demand it! okay just kidding).
I don't much have anything to talk about. Laziness is never an exciting venture. Tomorrow I plan on getting some stuff done. I really need to get out of the house. Maybe I'll call up an old friend and go on a coffee date. Hmm, sounds quite amazing actually. Well alright I guess I'll get off here now, til tomorrow or whenever I post next! Goodnight fellow bloggers, even though none of you are reading this. :] hehe.
